frequently asked questions

All you need to know

  • Each session is around an hour in length although we often find our mums catching up before and after the session together. The first few minutes we take to get yourself and bub settled into the space. We always begin by chatting about what’s been a win that week and what’s been hard, our mums consistently tell us it’s one of the favourite parts of their week as we take time to say how things really are in a safe and supportive space.

Afternoon tea and your drink of choice is served to you as we start the content from our guest speaker whilst your little one has a chance to interact with some age appropriate enrichment activities and the other bubs in your group. There’s always an opportunity to ask questions of the guest speaker in the moment or send them ahead of time so that each session is truly tailored to the unique needs you and your bub have.

We then finish with a small moment of mindfulness and affirmation to send you off into the rest of your week as you love and care for your bub.

  • The cost for the term is $200. This covers eight sessions, a welcome gift, afternoon tea and a drink of your choice at each session, ALL your pictures from your professional photoshoot with your bub, a themed photo booth opportunity at the welcome and goodbye session, a goodbye goody bag, exclusive discounts from some amazing local businesses and a whole host of added extras we can’t wait to shower you and your baby with.

It does represent an investment but we’ve worked hard for it to be excellent value for money and believe that out of all the money you’ll spend on bub in their first year, this is an investment in yourself that you won’t regret making. It works out to $25 a session and all of our mums say it represents excellent value for money and they think it was absolutely worth it!

We operate an upfront payment system because, speaking from personal experience, had I not paid upfront for my group there were weeks I would have skipped out but it helped me keep the commitment to myself and I want that for you too.

That being said we know times are tight so if paying in one lump sum is difficult right now please contact us bumpbubandbeyond@gmail.com and we can work out a payment plan for you, we would never want finance to be the reason a mother is unable to access post natal support.

  • Term 2 of Bump Bub & Beyond is starting on Friday MAY 3RD and will run for 8 weeks.

The 0-6 month group is at 1pm-2pm.

Our 6-12 month group is running in TERM 3 starting on Friday July 26th at 2.30-3.30pm.

Bookings for both groups are open now.

  • After you secure your booking by paying for your place I will be in contact with the full details for the term you have booked, including how to get to the venue.

The week before the term starts I’ll send you an email reminding you of the details (hello baby brain!) we also open our Facebook group the week before so you can introduce yourselves to each other online before you meet in person.

On the day before I’ll send you a text message to remind you of the arrival time etc. Then all there is to do is come as you are and enjoy the start of your Bump Bub and Beyond journey.

  • The free groups are great and if this is better suited to your current budget then definitely take advantage of them. In our experience the longer amount of time, in person experience and opportunity to build community is different in Bump Bub & Beyond groups and our desire is that you make a few great mum connections which will stay with you through your motherhood journey.

A Bump Bub & Beyond group is a little smaller than some of the other mums groups available which means it’s a more bespoke experience uniquely tailored to each mum that registers for a group. We’re finding it gives more opportunity for deeper connections and our mums are continuing to meet up after the group has finished which is the goal!

Plus we think our added extras and smaller group sizes allow us to pamper you a little more as one of our mums said “Everyone deserves a little pampering and the BBB team definitely provide that” ~ Amore

  • Our host venue is Emerge Church Morayfield, home to a vibrant and diverse community of people who are passionate about Morayfield and the surrounding suburbs.

There’s plenty of free parking onsite, accessible facilities and multiple changing stations for bub. The space Bump Bub & Beyond uses is one of the dedicated children’s rooms meaning we’ve plenty of room for each group and your little ones.

We have a comfortable waiting area in the foyer meaning you can arrive a little early, get yourself settled, take advantage of the refreshments & connect with the mums in your group even before the session starts. Lots of our mums come early to do a feed before the session and connect - it’s where the magic happens!

  • We have capped the group at 8 mums plus babies. The groups are intentionally smaller so that you have the opportunity to connect with other mums.

However our groups currently are averaging around 6 mums which we’re loving for that extra connection and intimate feel ( our mums are loving it too!)

  • Our guest speakers are carefully curated to help you leave every session with CLARITY and CONFIDENCE and to help you get the most out of your motherhood journey through CONNECTION. They are proficient in their field, usually mums themselves and are passionate about helping you right where you are at.

They welcome your questions so that they can tailor their content to the unique needs and questions each group will have. They are down to earth, non-judgmental and have been chosen with you in mind. For more information head to the ‘Meet Our Speakers’ page.

  • It’s going to happen! All babies cry and that’s completely fine with us!

That being said we do have a quiet room next door to the venue room where you can settle your baby should you so wish, but there’s no expectation that you have to do that. Most mums settle their bub in the room whilst still accessing the session.

  • We do ask that if you or your baby aren’t well that you help protect the health of all our other bubs and mums attending by staying at home.

We will give you the option to do up to two catch up sessions for the content that you missed in the next term should you wish. Alternatively we are happy to send the session notes through to your email so you can still access the content at your leisure.

  • We don’t currently offer casual passes for our mums and bubs groups. The reason for this is that we are very intentional in creating community within each group and to come along to just one session really doesn’t give you the community experience we’re aiming to build.

We are hoping to develop stand alone events in the future which you may be interested in if the 8 week commitment isn’t for you at this time. Shoot us an email bumpbubandbeyond@gmail.com and we’ll let you know when they’re happening.

Did I miss something? Shoot me an email and I’ll do my best to come back to you with an answer within 48 hours.
